Video Architect – Encoder/Decoder

A key technology giant is searching for an experienced Video Architect to join their team based in Sophia Antipolis, France.

Your role as the Video Architect will be to create innovative hardware video Encoder / Decoder architecture to achieve world-class video compression efficiency in a low power environment. You will build a year roadmap for video encoding/decoding technologies.

The key skills required for the Video Architect – Encoder / Decoder are:

·         Relevant engineering degree or PhD with 5+ years’ of industry experience.

·         Expert in real-time video processing hardware systems

·         Strong experience in hardware IP architecture, low power / RTL design, camera algorithm development etc.

·         Hands on experience in compression standards such as HEVC, AV1, AVS2, …
