Expert – Diffusion Equipment Operation & Maintenance

You will be joining a world-leading technology company at their manufacturing technology centre in Weilheim (greater Munich).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete lifecycle management of wet process module equipment, including technical assessment and selection, introduction, phase-in, hook-up, tuning, and maintenance.
• Develop and manage the capability of diffusion module equipment and the team, structuring and growing the team to enhance competitiveness in equipment technology.
• Provide technological insights and strategic planning for relevant manufacturing equipment to stay aligned with industry trends and advance core equipment technologies.
• Handle equipment upgrades, modifications, and second-source substitutions to improve efficiency, stability, and throughput, while addressing significant technology issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline within the semiconductor industry.
• Over 12 years of experience in semiconductor diffusion equipment introduction or development. Experience with SiC product introduction or production is a must.
• Proven success in mass production within leading industry factories is highly beneficial.
• Strong understanding of ion implantation, furnace, and rapid annealing equipment used in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Familiarity with ion implantation, furnace, and rapid annealing equipment suppliers and an understanding of their design architecture.
• Ability to independently manage equipment transformation and improvement, and to analyze and resolve abnormalities in online machines and products.
• Experience in training new employees and leading team members to achieve scheduled tasks. Experience in team development and daily technology management is preferred.
• Hands-on approach and openness to working in a cross-cultural environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; knowledge of German and/or Chinese is a plus.
• Willingness to undertake international business trips or delegations.
