Azure Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Power BI.
• Design and build robust backend systems using Python OR .NET.
• Utilize SQL Server skills to manage and analyze data. (Optionally, mention Databricks or Snowflake as possibilities here).
• Migrate and automate existing data pipelines to Databricks on Azure, transforming PostgreSQL and Bash scripts into cloud-based solutions (or similar projects).
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into effective data solutions.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure data services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, etc.).
• Proficiency in Python OR .NET backend development and SQL Server data management.
• Familiarity with data processing and analytics tools like Databricks or Snowflake (a plus).
• Fluency in Dutch and English for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.
