Our client is a globally renowned robotics company and they require a Senior Project Engineer for industrial Automation.

As a Project Engineer, you coordinate technical aspects of quality, cost, and scheduling mainly for mechanical engineering work packages. In close collaboration with Sales, Production, and the Application team you generate new value for our customers. 

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinate Technical Matters: Coordinating technical aspects related to quality, cost, and scheduling primarily for mechanical engineering work packages.
• Project Timing and Communication: Collaborate with the core team to develop and share ownership of project timelines. Ensure that project tasks are up to date. Facilitate communication between departments, suppliers, and customers for assigned projects.
• Design Concept Review: Evaluate and enhance design concepts to align with engineering principles, company standards, and customer requirements.
• Documentation Creation: Prepare mechanical engineering execution documentation, including safety concepts, primary specifications, customer specifications, and long-lead releases. Obtain customer approval for these documents.
• Project Documentation: Ensure the preparation of mechanical engineering-related projects and process documentation.
• Feasibility Assessment: Evaluate the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of proposed design concepts.

Your Profile

• You are fluent in English and German
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation)
• Previous experience in Hardware and AI-software solutions for automation
• Technical background in Automation, automotive or machinery industry useful
• Independent, thorough and team oriented describes your attitude towards work 
• You are enthusiastic, good communicator, highly motivated and supportive
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
• Available for travel up to 40%
