Overview

A leading global company specializing in innovative lighting technology is seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to drive the growth of its automotive lighting solutions business. This role involves developing and managing client relationships, expanding market share, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the automotive industry, particularly in lighting applications, and a strong understanding of industry processes.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Cultivate and expand the customer base by targeting small to mid-sized accounts and exploring new business opportunities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for commercial, technical, and logistical discussions with clients.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends and areas for growth, tailoring sales strategies accordingly.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts, ensuring alignment with company goals while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee sales and design activities, collaborating with internal teams to ensure project success.
  • Facilitate webinars and presentations to effectively promote products to various customers.
  • Regularly engage with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that drive business results.
  • Track sales performance, forecasting revenue and identifying areas for improvement.

Qualifications
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on lighting solutions.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific processes, including quality control and logistics.
  • Strong communication skills, with fluency in English and German.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, with a strong sense of organization and time management.
  • Willingness to travel for customer visits, events, and training sessions.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with a passion for achieving high performance.
