Reliability & Test Technician

You will be joining a world-leading technology company at their manufacturing technology centre in greater Munich.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage reliability testing protocols for packaging applications, including power cycling, Thermal Shock Testing (TST), High-Temperature Storage (HTS), and similar tests.
• Carry out electrical characterization and analysis of power module prototypes through both static and dynamic testing.
• Design and develop automated test programs for in-depth characterization of power components.
• Oversee the organization and maintenance of a modern reliability lab, ensuring proper operation within a clean room setting.

Requirements

• State-certified Technician qualification in Electronics or Mechatronics.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in high-tech industrial sectors or related fields.
• Extensive knowledge of electronics or electrical engineering, ideally with hands-on experience in semiconductor assembly, including electronic packaging or molding.
• Skilled in the mechanical design and construction of parts for tools, equipment, and prototypes, with proficiency in CAD software and machinery.
• Strong technical understanding of power electronic devices, materials, and packaging processes.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal; additional knowledge of German or Chinese is advantageous.
• Flexible and motivated individual, capable of juggling multiple tasks efficiently.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to embrace new challenges and go beyond expectations.
• Team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work effectively in diverse, multicultural environments.
