Senior Engineer – 3D Printing Expert

You will be joining a world-leading technology company at their R&D site in Munich.

Responsibilities

• Lead the research, development, and optimization of metal and ceramic 3D printing technologies to enhance precision, efficiency, and performance.
• Conduct in-depth studies on the behavior of different metal materials in 3D printing, exploring new materials and their potential applications.
• Refine process parameters for metal and ceramic 3D printing and establish standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and reliability in production.
• Oversee the selection, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of 3D printing equipment to ensure efficient and stable operations.
• Solve complex technical challenges in the development of innovative 3D-printed metal products, continuously driving improvements and innovation.
• Stay informed of industry trends and lead the upgrade of products and processes based on cutting-edge technologies.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in metal 3D printing, with a deep understanding of core metal 3D printing technologies and innovation.
• Expertise in metal 3D printing processes, such as SLM, EBM, DMLS, with familiarity in process parameter optimization.
• Proficiency in metallography, mechanics, and computer simulations.
• Strong English skills in reading, writing, and international communication.
• Extensive experience in process engineering or materials science.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Enthusiastic about emerging technologies in materials and manufacturing processes.
