Quality Assurance Manager – LED

Responsibilities
 

• Design and implement comprehensive quality assurance protocols for LED and LED module production.
• Manage customer interactions, providing timely reporting and effective issue resolution.
• Collaborate with factory quality teams and R&D to prepare and analyze detailed reports.
• Deliver technical presentations and updates on quality issues to stakeholders.
• Develop and execute strategic action plans to address quality concerns in collaboration with customer service teams.
• Advise on best practices for manufacturing and assembly to minimize quality issues.
• Assist in conducting factory audits and managing product change notifications (PCN).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key engineers and decision-makers.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
• Provide technical support to existing customers while developing new client relationships.

Qualifications
 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (electrical, mechanical, material science) or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in automotive quality management, preferably in LEDs.
• Experience in manufacturing processes, reliability testing, or failure analysis in semiconductor or LED sectors.
• Familiarity with failure analysis techniques (e.g., C-SAM, SEM, TEM) and automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
• Professional certification in quality management (e.g., CMQ, ASQ) is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills using tools like 8D analysis and statistical process control.
• Understanding of key photometric parameters of LEDs and thermal management in automotive applications is advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits and internal meetings.
