Hardware Engineer
We are seeking a talented Hardware Engineer for a contract position to contribute to an exciting Processing In Memory (PIM) project, involving hardware modeling, FPGA prototyping, and performance optimization. This is a 100% on-site role in Grenoble, France.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in projects exploring advanced technologies, leveraging DDR Processing In Memory (PIM) to accelerate large language model (LLM) inference.
- Conduct advanced research on next-generation ARM-based multi-processor SoCs.
- Collaborate with an R&D team at a cutting-edge research institute, driving innovation in System-on-Chip (SoC) technologies to enhance product competitiveness.
- Core work areas include:
- GEM5 modeling
- Hardware accelerators
- Memory hierarchies, including cache and DDR
- Hardware/software co-design
- FPGA prototyping
- Focus on application areas such as AI and large language model inference.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience as a hardware engineer.
- Solid expertise in System-on-Chip (SoC) architecture, including hardware accelerators, CPUs, and caches.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for hardware modeling and performance profiling.
- A demonstrated ability to quickly learn and master new technologies.
- Proven experience in innovative problem-solving and effective communication within a global team environment.
