Our client, an innovative deep-tech startup in the semiconductor industry, is looking for a talented Business Development Account Executive to join their growing team.

Are you passionate about cutting-edge technology and ready to make a significant impact in the semiconductor industry? Our client is pioneering a revolutionary approach to Advanced Packaging and seeks a driven professional to fuel their expansion across the U.S. market.

About the Role:
As a Business Development Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying leads, cultivating relationships, and securing high-value commercial opportunities. You will act as a key liaison between the product team and clients to facilitate system sales and paid Proof-of-Concept (PoC) projects.
This is a fully remote position, with potential future office openings in Phoenix, Arizona, and the Bay Area. The ideal candidate will have a deep interest in semiconductor packaging technologies and a proactive approach to business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, and nurture leads to develop new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to present compelling value propositions to prospective clients.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach to closing deals, ensuring a smooth handoff to the implementation team.
  • Establish strong relationships with semiconductor companies, OSATs, and research institutions across the U.S.
  • Drive paid PoC projects and system sales to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Keep CRM systems updated to maintain accurate sales and client data.
  • Travel up to 20-40% for client meetings and industry events, as needed.

What We’re Looking For:
We’re searching for a passionate, self-driven professional with a background in microelectronics or semiconductor technologies. The ideal candidate will be based in the U.S. and eager to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Must-Have Qualifications:
  • Location: U.S.-based candidates only. Remote to start, with potential office openings in Phoenix, Arizona, and the Bay Area.
  • Experience: At least 2 years in the broader microelectronics field, with a strong focus on business development or sales.
  • Communication Skills: Proven ability to navigate client conversations confidently and influence without direct authority.
  • Flexibility: Comfortable working across global time zones (U.S., Europe, Australia, and Asia).
  • Technical Aptitude: High interest in deep-tech solutions and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Independence: Capable of working with minimal supervision in a fully remote role.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience with Advanced Packaging technologies such as lithography or deposition techniques.
  • A well-established network within the U.S. semiconductor companies, OSATs, or research institutions.
  • Proven success in closing high-value deals ($2-5M USD).
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and a proactive approach to maintaining up-to-date records.

  • Base Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 annually.
  • OTE Package: $150,000+ with uncapped sales bonuses.
