  Automotive Exterior Designer:

What will be your main responsibilities?

o Generate automotive exterior design projects, actively participating in all stages of the process to create competitive and successful solutions.

o Willingness to understand the design activities, working from initial concepts through to production-ready designs, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

o Bring strong creative enthusiasm and attention to detail, focusing on refining design solutions and exploring innovative ideas.

o Communicate and present internally design concepts effectively, ensuring clear and consistent understanding.

o Develop a solid knowledge of the Chinese automotive market,

o Travel to China or other project related locations a few times per year to support projects, conduct benchmarking, and engage with the HQ design team.

What are the skills required for this position?

o A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automotive Design.

o At least 2 years of experience in design, gained within a top-level agency or an in-house design team.

o Proficiency in 2D/3D design techniques, including sketching and rendering.

o Advanced skills in Blender for 3D modeling and rendering.

o Willingness to follow up clay models, both in small or full scale.

o Interest in and experience with AI tools to improve design quality and efficiency.

o A strong portfolio that demonstrates design solutions across different business sectors.

o Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving abilities.

o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

o Fluency in written and spoken English is required, knowledge of Chinese will be considered a plus.
