Job Title: BD / FAE Manager
Department: Sales
Location: Europe (Germany, UK, Netherlands, Italy)
Reports to: BD/FAE Senior Director

Role Overview

  • Develop and execute an application-focused business strategy.
  • Drive demand creation, design-in activities, and provide field technical support to customers.
  • Gather customer insights to inform Sales and Marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create customer engagement plans with Sales and Marketing.
  • Provide application knowledge and support design-in efforts to secure wins.
  • Share customer feedback and product requirements with marketing teams.
  • Lead technical product presentations, demos, and training for customers and internal teams.
  • Proactively communicate product features and benefits.
  • Allocate time as follows: 50% customer support, 20% design tracking, 20% training, 10% market updates.

Qualifications

  • Experience in business development and project management with clear understanding of design-in and design-win processes.
  • Technical background in power component applications (WG, industrial, SMPS, UPS, AC2DC).
  • Knowledge of power discrete parameters, measurements, and power supply topologies.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering.
  • 5+ years in technical support or R&D in the semiconductor industry.
  • Ability to provide on-site technical support.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and fluent in English.

About Our Client
Our client is a leading international supplier in the Power Bipolar market, with a strong presence in White Goods, Home Appliances, and Power Supply sectors. They are focused on rapid growth and competing with local brands by leveraging the mass market as a new growth engine.
Skills & Competencies

  • Sales skills: Communication, negotiation, presentation, and marketing intelligence.
  • Analytical and project management abilities.
  • Market knowledge: Traditional & modern trade, channel planning, and field processes.
  • Ability to utilize resources to achieve sales targets.

Key Decisions

  • Industry focus: WG, Industrial, Telecom Power, EV Chargers, Solar Power, UPS.
  • Position based in Europe, remote work optional.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years in sales/marketing.
  • Proactive, dynamic, and results driven.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Willingness to travel 30% or more.

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to BD/FAE Senior Director.
  • May supervise FAE/BD team members.

  • Team Leadership: Motivate and guide team members, fostering a positive environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Regular desk work with occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 4.5kg.
  • Vision requirements include close, peripheral, and adjustable focus.
  • Occasional business travel by car or plane.

KPIs & Objectives

  • Annual performance targets: POA (15%), POS (45%), DWIN (40%).
