Senior Mechanical Engineer

It is a senior mechanical engineering role working on complex systems and components related to fluids and gases under challenging physical conditions regarding pressure and temperature. Experience from vacuum and EX environment is essential and key factor to fulfill.

At the client site  there are several unique system solutions that are specifically designed to meet complex requirements so experience from tailor-made engineering solutions is valuable..
The tool they are using is CATIA V6, experience from that is preferred, but specific experience from vacuum systems is prioritized.
Previous work experience in the scientific facility is a bonus.
Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing and its application to production drawings
Additional experience in any of the following technologies: pressure, gas flow, magnetic field, low-frequency radiofrequency, high temperature, cryogenic, or electrical and electronics will be considered an asset.
You need to be a problem solver with a strong ability to find ways forward complying with the technical and qualitative requirements.
In many cases, they have systems that are not functioning in the right way and adjustments need to be done.

Duration estimated to 6 months with possible extension.
I think a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field is required.
