About the job
Our client is a global leader in the field of sensing applications through integrated development, design and production of CMOS image sensors for Automotive products and industry.

They are now looking for a Physical Implementation Engineer to take ownership of the physical implementation of the digital logic in our CMOS image sensors. You have extensive experience with full synthesis, place and routing, and verification of digital logic.

You will work with industry-standard EDA tools (Encounter DI, DesignCompiler, PrimeTime, IC-Compiler, RedHawk, Calibre, StarRC) for logic synthesis, implementation, and verification.

At the stage of silicon validation and mass production, it is required to support the evaluation of the chip function and reliability.

You will work with cross-functional teams (logic design, DFT, product engineering, and functional safety teams), and multi-cultural teams in both Europe and Japan.

You Will

• Floorplan preparation, multiple power domain implementation, and optimization
• Logic synthesis
• Placement and routing
• Test implementation (SCAN, memory BIST)
• Timing analysis/closure
• Evaluation of voltage drop on power/ground
• Signal integrity analysis and optimization
• Documentation and QA reviews of the implementation
• DevOps

   

Required skills:

• PhD/MSc or equivalent experience in Engineering or Physics
• Fluency in English
• Proven experience in Electronic/Semiconductor layout implementation (preferably in CMOS Image sensors)
• Experience in working with multi-ethnical and cross-functional and remote teams
