DCCP Engineer (small and medium power conversion expert)
Small and Medium Power Conversion Expert
Requirements:.
-
Experience: Over six years of R&D experience in Power Electronics, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a related industry. Prior experience in telecom power, EV chargers, or similar fields is preferred.

Industry Insight: Strong understanding of technology and industry trends, with the ability to contribute innovative and competitive ideas to drive top technical performance.

Technical Expertise:
-
In-depth knowledge of telecom power and EV charger topologies, modulation and control algorithms, magnetic design, and simulation tools.
-
Solid theoretical foundation in power electronic converters (AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC, resonant and non-resonant types), magnetic component design, and power semiconductor devices, including GaN and SiC wide-bandgap technologies.
Innovation & Leadership: Highly motivated, passionate about new technologies, and capable of leading R&D activities.
Problem-Solving & Work Style: Self-reliant, goal-oriented, and strong in analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication & Collaboration: Professional proficiency in English; prior international and multicultural work experience is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Collaborate with internal teams to define power supply system requirements and establish key technical competencies for Huawei’s future products.
-
Support the development of technology roadmaps for next-generation telecom power and EV charger systems, including various product forms (e.g., natural cooling, fan cooling, PV-integrated, battery-powered telecom systems, and high-power EV chargers).

Lead the R&D of innovative telecom power and EV charger architectures and converter topologies, focusing on medium and small power products (3kW, 6kW, 10kW, 25kW, 60kW, etc.).

Engage with external R&D institutes and universities in collaborative projects to develop cutting-edge technologies for Huawei Digital Power products.

Oversee the design, testing, and validation of converter concepts in R&D laboratories.

Drive innovation by generating novel ideas and securing intellectual property rights (IPR) through patent filings.
-
Represent Huawei in international conferences and exhibitions, contributing technical insights and engaging with the power electronics community.

Travel occasionally to China for internal collaboration, business alignment, and technical discussions.

Mentor and guide junior team members.
