Senior Powertrain Mechanical Engineer – Automotive

You will be joining a world-leading technology company at their lab in Nuremberg.

This role is focused on gearbox architecture, NVH performance, and overseeing manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality mechanical performance in powertrain applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical transmission systems such as planetary and parallel-shaft gearboxes and ball screw assemblies.

• Lead NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) analysis and optimization throughout the product lifecycle.

• Oversee key manufacturing and assembly stages, ensuring compliance with performance and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Thermophysics, or related discipline.
• Strong background in gearbox design and NVH engineering.
• Hands-on experience with 3D CAD tools.
• Demonstrated ability to manage full-cycle product development.
• Understanding of manufacturing workflows and production environments.
