To push beyond current limitations in mobile imaging, the team is seeking visionary experts in Camera Architecture to help define future, end-to-end imaging systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong record of cross-disciplinary innovation spanning optics, sensing, processing, and display. Experience in industrializing flagship-class imaging solutions is essential—covering areas such as custom CMOS sensor development, ISP architecture, and advanced display engine optimization. Candidates should bring a first-principles mindset to address quality bottlenecks and drive disruptive advancements through algorithmic innovation and system-level validation.
Responsibilities

• Working closely with related teams to creating proposals for future imaging solutions in the domain of pixel reconstruction based on customer requirements and shortcomings of existing solutions
• Define pixel reconstruction algorithm evolving roadmap and be responsible for constant competitiveness of product for better detail/noise, zoom consistency and temporal stability performance
• Propose efficient HW IP/SOC solutions based on analysis taking into account power/performance/area/latency/picture quality.
• Drive end-to-end validation of pixel reconstruction innovations, from conceptualization to prototype implementation and performance benchmarking, to steer algorithm development strategy. • Keep track of SOTA pixel reconstruction algorithm applicable to embedded systems, image processing or video processing algorithm

Requirements

• Master/PhD degree with 10+ years of industry experience in mobile imaging
• Detailed understanding of mobile imaging systems & module designs (image sensors, optics, mechanics, auto-focus, optical image stabilization, assembly processes, etc).
• Good knowledge of state of the art ISP data-flows and processing blocks.
• Experience with modern imaging algorithms such as denoising, HDR, super resolution, image fusion, multi-camera registration, etc.
• Working knowledge of imaging system simulations and evaluation of simulation results.
• Ability to work autonomously but also with technical experts and mentor juniors.
• Root cause analysis and problem solving skills
• Result driven, excellent communication skills, work in multi-cultural multi-site environment.
