About the Role:
A leading technology innovator is seeking a Wireless Software Architect to drive research and architecture design for next-generation wireless systems. You’ll explore emerging trends, evaluate technologies, and help shape the future of wireless baseband software and SoC architectures. This role blends hands-on technical expertise with strategic foresight in software and hardware co-design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Software Architecture Design: Define and develop high-performance Layer 2 architecture for next-gen wireless systems, including User Plane Control and MAC Scheduling.

• Innovate Core Technologies: Identify and drive breakthroughs in software, hardware, and co-design areas to enhance system performance and capacity.

• Research & Trend Analysis: Monitor industry research, collaborate with academia, and attend conferences to guide technology direction.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with global teams across algorithms, software, and hardware to ensure cohesive and scalable solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Wireless Communications, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in wireless communication systems, especially 4G/5G Layer 2

• Strong background in embedded systems and SoC design (e.g., DSP, ARM, Intel)

• Expertise in C/C++ and large-scale system design

• Solid understanding of Layer 2 technologies: scheduling, link adaptation, MIMO, data processing

Preferred Experience:

• Deep knowledge of hardware/software co-design and performance optimization (e.g., memory/cache, compiler tuning, power efficiency)

• Exposure to AI/ML applications in wireless communication

• Proven experience in large-scale, high-complexity software architecture
