AI Researcher – 3D Generation and Reconstruction
Our client is the leading 3D scanning company in the world. They leverage state-of-the-art in Computer Vision and Machine Learning to scan highest quality, relightable 3D models of objects and products at scale.
Their 3D scanners are used globally by customers such as Meta, adidas, NUREG, Inditex (ZARA, Massimo Dutti, etc.), Gucci, Salomon, Quad, and other leading brands, content creation studios, and technology companies to mass produce tens of thousands of 3D assets per year.

Position Overview
We’re looking for a 3D AI Researcher to push the boundaries of our 3D pipelines for neural reconstruction, diffusion-based 3D generation, generative design, and scene synthesis. Join a small, elite team shaping the future of digital objects and environments at scale.

Key Responsibilities
Research & Development
Design generative 3D pipelines using diffusion models, transformer-based architectures for scene, material, and object generation.
Build systems for creating relightable 3D objects from limited visual input.
Contribute to innovations in generative 3D backgrounds and product design, enabling AI-driven layout and variation control.
Prototype and benchmark architectures for high-quality reconstruction and generation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers and researchers groups to translate ideas into scalable systems.
Interact with enterprise clients to understand needs and influence product direction.
Take over and own important parts of our 3D pipeline and help us blitz-scale
Participate in CVML, AI, startup conferences globally
Qualifications
Required:
PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, or a related field – OR – Master’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience
Proven track record in 3D scene generation, neural rendering, or 3D reconstruction
Experience with applying diffusion and transformer models to the 3D domain
Experience with 3D scene representations
Strong coding skills in Python and/or C++
Proficient in PyTorch and Rendering Frameworks
Solid understanding of 3D vision and physically-based rendering fundamentals
Nice to Have:
Experience with GPU programming
Background in multi-view geometry, structured light, or 3D processing
Demonstrated ability to transition research into applied environments
Contributions to open-source projects
