Analog Mixed Signal Design Engineer
Analog Mixed Signal Design Engineer
The Role
This is an opportunity to work in cutting edge team at an exciting start up working on ultra-efficient chips.Â
Responsibilities
- You will become part of a highly experienced team of circuit designers and where you will work on data converters and other analog/mixed-signal circuits.
- You will be involved in all aspects of the data-converter chipsets and their characterization including post-silicon validation.
- This requires and gives you the opportunity to understand the overall data converter systems that are implemented for wireless communication systems.
- You will gain detailed knowledge on a broad range of different IPs to define testplans, define test programs, support test development of IP characterization, and support chip bring-up activities.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of analog/mixed-signal circuits such as ADCs, DACs, PLLs, DLLs, filters, active mixers, driver stages, biasing circuits, LDO regulators, OpAmps, comparators and switched-cap circuits.
- Extensive hands-on experience with EDA design tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, preferably with a history of successful Tapeouts.
- Extensive experience in the laboratory measurement, test development, debugging, measurement automation, analog IP characterization and ADC/DAC lab characterization.
- Familiar with laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, real-time scope, arbitrary waveform generators, signal generator, etc.
- Good programming skills, Matlab, and Python knowledge.
- Strong written and verbal communication skill.
- Proficiency in English language is required.
- Ph.D/Master Degree in Electric Engineering with relevant experience
