Our client is  migrating our Jira and Confluence Data Center apps to Cloud, as well as introducing an Atlassian-based project management capability. You will engage with people across all of our business groups, understanding their requirements, finding opportunities, developing and deploying solutions.

This is a 10-month fixed term contract.

Responsibilities:

• Turning requirements into solutions; coordinating testing and user satisfaction.
• Developing and Maintaining tools that enable efficient engineering delivery.
• Owning process controls to protect the integrity and performance of our environments.
• Guiding our support team on how to address complicated requests and taking decisions to facilitate the right outcomes.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Expertise. You will have a background in configuring and administering Jira cloud and Confluence cloud apps. You can define and deliver work packages autonomously, applying project management & software development techniques, i.e. programming, business analysis, quality assurance and configuration management.
• Technical skills. Good knowledge of Groovy, Scriptrunner and Jira automation.
• An excellent communicator. You excel in establishing relationships across large organisations, take pride in earning trust and building a reputation as a ‘go-to’ person. You collaborate across technical and non-technical teams, breaking down barriers to ensure people, requirements and commitments are aligned.
• Analytical. You proactively seek opportunities, involve teams, design solutions, document processes, gain sign-off and collaborate effectively through to completion, showing superb attention to detail.
• Inquisitive. You welcome a challenge and question the status quo, striving to recommend and implement quality improvements.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:

• Experienced with migration from Atlassian Data Center to Atlassian cloud.
• Competence with Java and Python.
• Knowledge of Atlassian marketplace apps, such as: Structure, Draw.io, JXL, Mosaic and Exalate.
