ERL is supporting a established system integrator that has secured a project with a leading Bio-Pharma company that has an extensive Manufacturing Facility at Raheen, Limerick site.

Our client currently has an extensive Manufacturing Facility at Raheen, Limerick site, which has been in operation since 2014. Due to current site expansion, we require a number of new contractors embedded within our Automation team in an onsite capacity.

There is currently five Manufacturing Process Areas in full production primarily on Rockwell Systems which are sitting on windows VM’s

• Studio 5000
• FT View
• ThinManager
• FT Asset Centre
• FT Transaction Manager
• Rockwell Site Historian (Pi)

Operational Scope

The operation scope is to provide cover to the all-site manufacturing and utility process areas.

Manufacturing process equipment:

• Bioreactors
• Harvest
• Media Preparation
• High Temperature Short Time (HTST)
• Buffer Preparation
• Chromatography
• Viral Filtration
• Ultrafiltration and Diafiltration (UFDF)
• Formulation / Filling

Support Equipment

• Parts Washers
• Clean-In-Place (CIP)

Clean Utilities

• Pretreated Water Generation
• Water-For-Injection (WIP) – Generation, Storage and Distribution
• Clean Steam (CS) – Generation and Distribution

Roles & Responsibilities

Automation Process Engineer

As an Automation Process Engineer, you would be responsible for providing advanced level of technical and automation support to manufacturing and facility systems.

A typical day might include but is not limited to, the following:

• Provides advanced level of technical and automation support to sustain business needs.
• Performs investigation of manufacturing deviations and anomalies related to automation and software.
• Implements software changes and upgrades in adherence with procedures.
• Manages projects related to corrective action or equipment performance improvement
