Chief Audio Signal Processing Engineer – Automotive/System Level

You will be joining an established audio team within an innovative automotive engineering lab ata world-leading technology company in Munich.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead and drive the creation of cutting-edge solutions that establish our company as a key industry player.
• Offer technical direction and conceptual development during the phases of analysis, design, and implementation of assigned tasks.
• Collaborate closely with team members and external partners to develop designs, specifications, and related documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in engineering or science disciplines.
• 10+ years’ experience
• Proven experience in digital signal processing.
• Advanced skills in C, C++, and assembly language programming.
• Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, and Matlab is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of operating systems and their behaviors.
• Expertise in acoustics and psychoacoustics would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of automotive industry standards and development processes is a plus.
• Proactively enhance and challenge current solutions with innovative technology, backed by evidence and strategic planning.
• Passionate about collaborating with a diverse, international team.
• Excellent proficiency in English; additional skills in German and/or Chinese would be advantageous.
• Willing to travel internationally up to 20% of the time.
