Chief Research Leader – AI Computing Architecture

Job Description:
We are seeking a visionary Chief Research Leader in AI Computing Architecture to drive innovation in next-generation computing frameworks. This role focuses on optimizing scalability, efficiency, and advanced AI capabilities, leading a high-performing team at the forefront of AI architecture development.

Responsibilities:

• Define the evolution path for next-generation AI computing architecture, tracking global technology trends and anticipating key breakthroughs.

• Identify and prioritize core challenges in AI architecture development to enhance system performance and competitiveness.

• Lead research initiatives to develop scalable and efficient computing architectures for AI applications, ensuring feasibility for real-world deployment.

• Oversee projects that push the boundaries of AI foundation models and applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI computing strategies with broader company objectives.

• Build and manage a world-class research team, fostering innovation and technical excellence.

• Establish partnerships with academic and industry leaders to drive knowledge exchange and technological advancement.

• Represent the organization in conferences, seminars, and industry events, showcasing leadership in AI computing architecture.

Requirements:

• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, specializing in computing architectures or AI.

• 10–20 years of experience in computing architecture research and development, with significant leadership exposure.

• Strong expertise in AI technologies, including machine learning and deep learning.

• Proven track record of pioneering computing architecture solutions and leading successful projects.

• Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and/or patents in relevant fields.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with hardware acceleration technologies (GPUs, TPUs, custom ASICs).

• Established collaborations with industry and technology leaders in AI.

• Proven ability to secure funding and resources for research initiatives.
