Cloud Solution Architect

Responsibilities 

• Understand customers’ overall data estate, IT, and business priorities, as well as success measures, to design implementation architectures and solutions.
• Maintain expert-level knowledge and skills to guide customers’ journey through cloud transformation.
• Apply technical expertise to architect solutions that align with business and IT needs on public cloud and hybrid cloud environments, ensuring the long-term technical viability of new deployments.
• Ensure solutions demonstrate high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, reusability, and reliability upon deployment.
• Cultivate deep relationships with key customer stakeholders and IT decision-makers, fostering long-term cloud adoption within their organization and empowering them as cloud advocates.
• Serve as a Voice of Customer, sharing insights and best practices, and liaising with the Engineering team to address key blockers.
• Assess customers’ cloud readiness and knowledge, facilitating structured learning plans and ensuring their delivery through partners or directly to the customer.
• Collaborate with other Cloud Solution Architects in developing complex end-to-end enterprise solutions.
• Stay abreast of technical advancements and market trends, sharing insights with the technical community, while educating customers on cloud solutions.
• Act as an evangelist for cloud solutions within the customer base, partner network, and external communities.

Basic Qualifications
 

• 3-5 years of successful experience in consultative/complex technical sales and deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications.
• Previous experience in a Consulting/Architecture position within a software and/or services company such as Amazon Web Services, Azure, VMware, Google, IBM, Oracle, Teradata, SAP, Cloudera/Hortonworks, Pivotal, or similar.
• Certification in one or more of the following technologies preferred: Cloud, Database, Big Data.
