Role Overview
We’re looking for a skilled Compiler Engineer to join our innovative compiler team in Zurich. In this hands-on role, you’ll work on developing an adaptive runtime compiler for our unique hardware architecture, optimizing HPC applications in real time.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain optimizations to accelerate HPC applications on dedicated hardware.
• Contribute to and work with MLIR and LLVM to advance adaptive compiler technologies.
• Conduct benchmarking to identify new optimization opportunities and guide project roadmaps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software and HPC engineers and hardware architects, to align on project objectives and requirements.

Requirements

• Education: BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 3+ years in software engineering for complex projects, or 2+ years in compiler engineering.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in C, C++, or similar systems programming language.
  • Understanding of compiler engineering concepts such as IR, optimization techniques, and dataflow analysis is an advantage.
• Other Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with experience in control flow graphs and code analysis.
