Compiler Engineer
Compiler Engineer
Job Summary
We aim to enhance productivity and performance of compilers. We develop open source compilers (GCC/LLVM) and contribute to communities. The Lab consists of an international team led by many respected experts within the industry, and our major fields are computer graphics, general computing, 5G, and autonomous driving. We focus on the exploration, innovation and breakthrough of leading-edge technology in compilers and various computing fields. The main research directions include compiler optimisation, compiler intermediate expression (IR) design, and software-defined ISA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and optimise performance of the compiler
- Provide insight into compilation technology trends, participate in open source community and eco-system construction
Required:
- Comprehensive experience in compiler development and architecture design
- Established links with open source communities such as LLVM / GCC
- Familiarity with software performance analysis and optimisation
Desired:
- PhD in appropriate subject
- Proven CS knowledge and coding skills (C / C ++, architecture, data structure and algorithms etc.)
- Motivation to self-learn and confidence in exploring novel technology pathways
- Good communicator
- Team player
