Role Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Compiler Team Lead to oversee and guide a team of compiler engineers working on optimization processes for our unique hardware architecture. This is a hands-on, high-impact role based in Zurich, leading a diverse team in developing our next-generation runtime compiler. This role involves close collaboration with local team members and remote peers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of compiler engineers focused on MLIR and LLVM-based technologies.
• Define and manage feature development, setting clear expectations with software, architecture, and hardware teams.
• Drive technical solutions in compiler optimization, with a focus on quality and innovation.
• Navigate engineering challenges and provide technical direction on complex design issues.
• Recruit and retain top engineering talent to enhance team capabilities.
• Work closely with remote engineering teams to align on development goals and approaches.

Requirements

• Education: BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 6+ years in software engineering, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and strong algorithmic knowledge.
  • Hands-on experience with compiler optimizations and code analysis.
  • Knowledge of LLVM and/or MLIR frameworks is highly advantageous.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to guide a team in achieving technical and product milestones under tight schedules.
