Data Center Engineering Operation (DCEO)
We are seeking two highly skilled DCEO Specialists to join our team in Dublin. These positions will be focused on either the electrical or HVAC aspects of our data center infrastructure. The successful candidates will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and optimization of critical data center systems, ensuring the highest levels of reliability, efficiency, and uptime.
Responsibilities
- Operations & Maintenance (O&M):Â Perform routine maintenance tasks, inspections, and troubleshooting on assigned electrical or HVAC systems.
- Risk Management & Quality Assurance:Â Identify and mitigate operational risks, implement quality control measures, and adhere to strict safety protocols.
- Process Optimization:Â Contribute to the development and improvement of standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintenance procedures, and emergency operating procedures (EOPs).
- Technical Expertise:Â Provide technical guidance and support during infrastructure upgrades, renovations, and incident response.
- Strategic Planning:Â Participate in the development and execution of data center infrastructure plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Education:Â
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data center construction, maintenance, or operations, with a focus on either electrical or HVAC systems.
- Demonstrated experience in the construction or maintenance of at least two data center projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of data center power systems (including UPS, generators, switchgear), cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH units, chillers), or low-voltage systems.
- Familiarity with building management systems (BMS), SCADA, and other relevant monitoring and control tools.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., ASHRAE, Uptime Institute).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in English is required. Mandarin language skills are a plus.
