DevOps Engineer 

Your area of responsibility

• Strengthening the platform and developer experience teams with a focus on cloud native technology stack
• Setting up and operating environments in the areas of private and public cloud
• Independent development of managed services for use in software solutions
• Providing technical advice to product owners and software engineering teams on product and project requirements
• Process automation including continuous integration, continuous delivery and test automation as well as carrying out independent administration and configuration activities
• Evaluation of new technologies and continuous training
• Documentation of best-practice approaches and support for cross-departmental knowledge exchange

Your profile

• Successfully completed studies in computer science or a comparable field of study or IT technical training with relevant professional experience in a comparable position
• Expertise in working with Enterprise Kubernetes, ideally knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift and in operating hybrid cloud environments with AWS
• Experience in one or more of the following technologies: Keycloak, Docker, CI/CD, JFrog, Postgres, Kibana, Grafana, TCP/IP, TLS, HTTP/S
• Experience in one or more of the following technologies: Keycloak, HashiCorp Vault, Elastic Stack, RabbitMQ, Apigee, JupyterHub
• Expertise in the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and the deployment of large software applications is advantageous
• Knowledge of microservices architectures and API design (REST, messaging)
• Basic understanding of network infrastructures (routing, load balancing, DNS)
• Analytical, service-orientated way of working and enjoy working in agile teams (Scrum, Kanban)
