Digital Verification Engineer

We’re searching for a talented and motivated Digital IC Verification Engineer to join our dynamic design team. In this role, you’ll play a vital role in verifying the digital processing functions of a state-of-the-art CMOS Transceiver ASIC, collaborating closely with mixed-signal and digital design engineers.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement robust verification methodologies for the ASIC design.
• Develop detailed verification plans aligned with circuit specifications.
• Create self-checking test benches for both block and top-level verification.
• Implement regression tests on RTL and gate-level netlists to ensure design integrity.
• Collaborate with the Analog design team on mixed-signal simulations.
• Participate in the evaluation of the fabricated ASIC within the measurement lab.
• Foster teamwork to achieve the successful design of a next-generation ASIC.
• Actively participate in design reviews and provide valuable insights.
• Compose documentation that adheres to company QA policies.

Qualifications
 

• Master’s degree (MSc) or Doctorate (PhD) in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field, with 3+ years of hands-on experience in digital IC verification.
• Strong foundation in digital electronics and signal processing principles.
• Proficiency in digital hardware description languages (VHDL or Verilog) and scripting languages (TCL, Perl, Python).
• In-depth knowledge of SystemVerilog for advanced verification practices.
• Experience with the UVM verification methodology (a plus).
• Experience in formal verification techniques (a plus).
• Experience with gate-level simulation methodologies (a plus).
• Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems effectively.
• Prior experience in verifying digital functions for mixed-signal ICs (e.g., A/D Converters, D/A Converters, RF Transceivers) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Cadence or Synopsys RTL design flows is a plus.
• Previous experience working with FPGAs is a plus.
• Team player with a critical eye for detail and a proactive approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
