Distribution coordinator and Master Production Planner
50% Distribution coordinator

· Job summary
Plans and schedules outbound shipment of freight (road, rail, air and ocean). Coordinates with carriers and follows up with shipment process to ensure efficient and timely movement of finished goods. Conducts research, analyze, administrate and monitors transportation methods.

· Description
The purpose of the Distribution Coordinator is to coordinate the delivery of finished goods and services to customers in a timely and accurate manner adhering to customer shipping standards. Schedules and routes outbound domestic and international shipments of freight. Calculates orders in system to enable orders to be shipped. Interface and coordination with various groups including LSPs, control tower, regional supply planners, demand planners, plant production and quality departments. Administration and coordination of freight bills, CMR, COO, COA and customs clearance. Collects and accumulate data and statistics used in weekly and monthly reports. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

50% Master Production Planner

· Job summary
Plans, prepares, issues, and controls production schedules on a mid to long term horizon. and material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirement. Identifies raw material and component requirement for production.

· Description
Administers production schedule to support product demand as well as level load operations. Analyzes product demand, sales patterns, forecasts, production specifications and plant capacity data. Identifies raw material and component requirements for production from engineering and production specific. Reviews and issues support documents for scheduling. Monitors planning modules or production planning system with current lead times, and related information. Establishes effective communication with various groups such as customers, sales offices, and plant production departments and monitors orders from start to finish. to ensure the on time delivery of products. Anticipates production issues due to capacity and new product launches. Reviews capacity loads and identifies possible manufacturing constraints. Expedites and secures parts needed for production. Ensures timely ordering and delivery of components to support manufacturing activities. Prepares production reports. Analyzes month end activity to determine the need for forecast modification. Makes necessary adjustment to planned production schedules. Directs production supervisors on. Supports new product launch meetings and new product forecasts by providing production schedule and analysis.
