DSP Research Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and innovation in digital signal processing for optical communications and related applications.
• Explore theories, design advanced algorithms, perform analysis, and run simulations.
• Generate intellectual property and file patents.
• Collaborate with other teams and business units to exploit research outputs.
• Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with university researchers.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in signal processing or communications.
• Expertise in telecom communication, physical layer algorithm design, machine learning, and related fields.
• Proficiency with Python and other programming and simulation tools.
• Proven ability to conduct independent research and contribute to team projects.
• Publications in leading journals (e.g., JLT, PTL, Opt. Express) and conferences (e.g., OFC, ECOC) and/or patents.
• Strong English communication skills, both oral and written.
