Job Title: EH&S Specialist – Projects
Location: Cork (Onsite)
Contract Type: Permanent

Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced EH&S Specialist to support ongoing projects at our Cork site. The ideal candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and advisor to project teams, ensuring compliance with EHS legislation and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct EHS Impact Assessments as part of the Management of Change process.
  • Implement EHS by Design and OneCSS for project compliance.
  • Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, JSAs, noise/IH/ergonomics assessments, FATs/SATs, and walkdowns.
  • Track and close IA actions.
  • Perform periodic audits to ensure compliance with PTW requirements, SOPs, and regulatory standards.
  • Collate and report relevant metrics/KPIs.
  • Lead and participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses.
  • Drive improvements in the PTW process.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A third-level qualification in Science, Engineering, or EHS with at least 5 years of experience in EHS within a pharmaceutical or biopharma environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards.
  • Proficient in creating dashboards, reports, and presentations, and tracking KPIs.
  • Machine safety experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills.
