Embedded Software Engineer – Integration
Embedded Software Engineer – Integration
About the Role:
Join the Products and Integration Team within the Core Platform Software Development Group, where you’ll play a key role in integrating and debugging cutting-edge chipset technologies. You’ll work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment—collaborating with hardware, systems, and software teams to drive stability, performance, and rapid delivery of embedded solutions.
This role is focused on software integration, system-level debugging, triage, and toolchain optimization.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems teams to identify, triage, and resolve system-level issues.

Integrate drivers and peripheral software into the core platform.

Develop and maintain scalable build systems and tools to support multiple image configurations.

Support system validation through image creation, deployment, and sanity testing.

Contribute to product planning by aligning software integration efforts with roadmap goals and delivery timelines.

Ensure software meets performance and power efficiency KPIs in coordination with systems engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Proficient in embedded software development and integration, with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience.

Experience with build systems such as SCons or CMake.
-
Familiarity with source control tools like Git, Gerrit, GitHub, or Perforce.
-
Hands-on experience using JTAG for low-level debugging.

Background in device driver development and system-level bring-up.
-
Experience working with Zephyr RTOS or other embedded operating systems.
