European Certification Engineer – PV/Energy Storage/Power Grid
Location: Germany, Netherlands, or other EU locations (No remote work; frequent EU travel required)

Position Overview:
Responsible for leading and managing certification processes for PV, energy storage, and power grid systems, with a focus on compliance with European standards. The role involves analyzing trends, establishing certification baselines, and ensuring products meet local regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Industry Insights and Certification Strategy:
2. Analyze certification standards, industry trends, and market competition.
3. Identify industry pain points and opportunities for product certification.

4. Certification Process Development:
5. Define certification baselines for PV and energy storage platforms.
6. Create localized certification solutions tailored to European regulatory requirements.
7. Build certification capabilities for products across European countries.

8. Certification Execution:
9. Manage certification delivery, local testing, and spot checks.
10. Conduct reviews and assessments of certification materials to ensure compliance.

Experience and Skills:

1. Technical Expertise:
2. Proven experience with CB, CE, and EN certification tests for PV and energy storage systems.
3. Strong knowledge of safety, EMC, network security, and fire protection regulations in the power systems and PV/energy storage fields.
4. Familiarity with GFM development, energy storage security, and industry trends in certification and validation.

5. Certification Knowledge:
6. Expertise with EU certification labs
7. Strong understanding of the European certification process and lab relationships.

8. Language & Communication:
9. Proficiency in English for listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
10. Capable of attending and contributing to international certification discussions.

Additional Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, science, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in the design, development, or application of PV or energy storage systems.
• EU passport preferred.
• Proficiency in Chinese is an advantage.
