Expert Engineer – Charging Connectors & Cable System
You will be joining a world-leading technology company in Nuremberg, to be a part of a growing lab!
Responsibilities
- Gain deep understanding of the technical advancements in charging connectors & liquid cooling systems, & contribute to the ongoing development of Digital Power products & solutions.
- Define the technological trajectory, establish a roadmap for the N+X generation of charging connectors & liquid cooling systems, guide the evolution of next-generation solutions, & lay the groundwork for monetizing business value through technical innovation.
- Take the lead in the detailed design of charging connectors, liquid cooling systems, conduct competitive analysis of products, contribute to industry standardization efforts, & strategize for patents.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to foster extensive industry relationships & collaborate with research institutes to anticipate the evolution of energy technologies, particularly in the realm of charging connectors & liquid cooling systems.
- Proficiency in identifying & evaluating emerging technologies & implementing systematic approaches to commercialize them effectively.
- Hands-on experience in designing & developing components for liquid-cooled charging connectors, including cold pool design, liquid leakage detection, insulation detection, & structural elements.
- Skilled in designing plastic & machining parts, with knowledge in thermal management.
- Capable of strategizing the development path for charging connectors & liquid cooling systems based on current industry trends, proactively pursuing patents, & leading efforts to establish industry standards.
- Fluent in both written & spoken English, with strong communication skills & the ability to thrive in multicultural environments.
