Expert – Fab Production Planning

You will be joining a world-leading technology company at their manufacturing technology centre in Weilheim (greater Munich).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with front-end production requirements to arrange production resources effectively. Ensure efficient operation of production lines and maximize production capacity.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards throughout the FAB production process. Oversee product inspection and testing, address exceptions promptly, and collaborate with the quality team to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
• Optimize production processes, enhance equipment maintenance, and incorporate automation and intelligent technologies to boost production efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with R&D, Module, PIE, Procurement, and Logistics departments to ensure seamless execution of production plans. Allocate resources effectively and resolve challenges and issues in daily operations.
• Support the development of packaging and testing manufacturing processes and process platforms. Improve processes such as photolithography, electroplating, and etching to enhance product yield, component performance, and reliability.
• Establish and continuously improve supply chain management practices with a focus on lean production. Participate in supplier evaluation, management, and assessment to ensure supply quality and foster long-term cooperative relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in materials science & engineering, electronic engineering, chemical engineering, or related fields.
• Over 12 years of FAB production management experience, preferably within the semiconductor industry. Expertise in FAB production management, including production processes, process flow, and quality management.
• Proficiency in production planning and adjustment methods. Ability to create reasonable production plans based on tasks and resource conditions. Knowledge of capacity planning and layout optimization. General understanding of equipment maintenance and management, including formulating maintenance plans. Mastery in production cost control methods, with strong cost analysis and control capabilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with various departments. Team-oriented with leadership skills to drive production management. Hands-on mentality with an open mindset for cross-cultural work settings.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. Knowledge of German and/or Chinese is a plus.
• Open to international business trips or delegations.
