Expert – Manufacturing Quality Control
You will be joining a world-leading technology company at their manufacturing technology centre in Weilheim (greater Munich).

Responsibilities
- Develop and plan the architecture of the manufacturing quality system tailored to the semiconductor industry. Continuously improve the quality system’s maturity and product consistency to meet customer quality requirements.
- Review and evaluate the quality management system based on customer requirements and industry standards. Identify weaknesses and risks, develop solutions, and make technical decisions on major issues to enhance system suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness.
- Provide leadership in implementing quality management solutions across departments. Integrate quality management requirements, standards, and principles into departmental processes, regulations, and operating standards. Promote business transformation and major quality improvements through effective management systems and processes.
- Establish and cultivate a quality-first culture within the organization. Design and implement strategies to enhance quality awareness, performance appraisal, and incentives among employees, ensuring a strong commitment to quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- At least 10 years of experience in semiconductor wafer manufacturing process monitoring, equipment management, and quality control methods. Experience with both silicon-based and non-silicon-based implementations is preferred.
- Deep understanding of wafer manufacturing processes, including lithography, etching, and ion implantation. Proficient in raw material characteristics and key quality control requirements. Experience in process development, process integration, and manufacturing quality control is essential. Experience in setting up quality systems in new plants is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, precise thinking, and the ability to induce, analyze, and improve processes. Proficiency in FMEA, SPC, MSA, and QC7 methods. Familiarity with ISO9001 quality management systems is required.
- High enthusiasm, responsibility, and good communication skills. Project management skills and the ability to work in cross-cultural settings. Open to international business trips or delegations.
- Â Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; knowledge of German and/or Chinese is an advantage.
