Expert – Test Equipment Operation & Maintenance

You will be joining a world-leading technology company at their fab in China.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of test process module equipment, including technical assessment, selection, introduction, phase-in, hook-up, tuning, and maintenance.
• Build and lead the team responsible for test module equipment, focusing on capability development and sustaining technological competitiveness.
• Provide insights and strategic planning for manufacturing equipment to align with industry trends and develop core technology expertise.
• Oversee equipment upgrades, modifications, or second-source substitutions to improve efficiency, stability, and throughput, and resolve significant technology issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline within the semiconductor industry.
• More than 12 years of experience in the introduction or development of semiconductor test equipment, with essential experience in SiC product introduction or production.
• Proven success in mass production within leading factories in the industry is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing test equipment, including ATE testers, sorters, and probe stations.
• Familiarity with test equipment suppliers and a solid understanding of equipment design architecture.
• Ability to independently manage equipment transformation and improvement, and to analyze and resolve abnormalities in online machines and products.
• Experience in training new employees and leading teams to achieve scheduled objectives. Preferred experience in team development and technology management.
• Hands-on approach and openness to working in a cross-cultural environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; knowledge of German and/or Chinese is a plus.
• Willingness to undertake international business trips or delegations.
