Expert – Thin Film Process

You will be joining a world-leading technology company at their fab in China.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for SiC thin film process development & project execution related work.
• Within the scope of responsibility take the lead in developing the manufacturing process flow of SiC power components related to thin film process modules, solve quality problems in a timely manner & ensure smooth manufacturing during ramp-up, pre-production & production phases.
• Within the scope of responsibility timely check & follow up on the status of engineering processes in case of drifts & take appropriate corrective actions to solve the issues, analyze & summarize the process data of engineering batches, handle the relevant engineering technical problems.
• Understand product reliability requirements & testing methods & be accountable for product reliability evaluation in the own field of process expertise.
• Improve product yield & tackle major challenges within the scope of responsibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in semiconductor physics, microelectronics, materials, chemistry or similar discipline within semiconductor industry.
• Over 10 years of experience working on semiconductor thin film introduction or development. Fab experience in SiC product introduction or production is a must.
• Familiarity with SiC process flow, manufacturing process & characterization techniques preferred.
• Semiconductor material processing, preferably for power devices development.
• Measurement methods & techniques for materials & process results evaluation.
• Successful mass production experience in leading factories in the industry is highly beneficial.
• Hands-on mentality & open mind-set for cross-culture working setting.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills in English, additionally German and/or Chinese is a plus.
• Open for international business trip or delegation.
