Expert – Yield Enhancement

You will be joining a world-leading technology company at their fab in China.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies and plans to enhance yield in semiconductor processes. Drive the effective implementation of these strategies.
• Conduct thorough analysis of defects and failure modes in the semiconductor manufacturing process. Utilize professional knowledge and tools to identify key factors affecting yield.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including process, equipment, and design teams, to resolve yield-related issues and ensure products meet yield targets with high quality.
• Establish and refine the yield monitoring system. Collect, analyze, and interpret large volumes of production data to support decision-making and optimize production efficiency.
• Lead and mentor the YE engineer team, enhancing their technical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• Research and introduce new technologies and methods to improve yield rates. Continuously optimize process flows and production efficiency.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in semiconductor technology, microelectronics, physics, materials science, chemistry, optoelectronics, electronics, or related fields.
• Over 6 years of experience in yield enhancement in large-scale FAB environments, with a preference for experience in SiC and 8-inch & 12-inch processes.
• Strong familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes, including lithography, etch, and deposition.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and methods with the ability to extract valuable insights from large datasets.
• Excellent team leadership and project management skills, with a proven ability to coordinate cross-functional resources effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking to address complex yield challenges promptly.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Keen awareness of new technologies and trends in the semiconductor industry.
• Hands-on mentality and openness to working in a cross-cultural environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; knowledge of German and/or Chinese is a plus.
• Willingness to undertake international business trips or delegations.
