Field Application Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design-in process from initial product presentation to product approval
• Win designs with both existing customers and new prospects
• Provide on-site technical advice and support to customers (e.g., thermal calculations, quality claims)
• Maintain and expand productive, professional relationships with key technical personnel in strategic accounts
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Product & Technical Marketing and local sales managers on new business opportunities
• Run weekly reports summarizing activities and upcoming plans

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience
• Strong technical expertise in power semiconductor electronics (0.5 kW – 250 kW) in a B2B industry with long sales cycles (up to two years), preferably in the industrial power conversion market
• A BSCEE degree or at least five years of experience as a Field Application Engineer or R&D Engineer
• Ability to work independently with third parties and customers
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, fluent in spoken and written English
• A reliable, open-minded, and persuasive approach
• A highly self-motivated, organized, and well-structured working style
