FTTH Site Manager / Site Engineer
We are a leading provider of telecommunications services in Germany, and we’re looking for an experienced FTTH City SPOC/Site Engineer to play a key role in delivering broadband fiber optic networks across the country.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage FTTH network implementation projects from start to finish, including a typical work week of 4 days on-site and 1 day remote.
- Create construction progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building regulations.
- Verify that health and safety requirements are met on site.
- Act as the primary point of contact for municipalities regarding FTTH network projects.
- Participate in meetings with customers and internal teams.
- Examine dimensions and documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Approve completed work performed by subcontractors.
- Coordinate documentation and acceptance processes with the customer.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in telecommunications, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a project manager or site manager for fiber optic network expansion projects.
- Fluency in German and English languages.
- Willingness to travel and work on project sites.
- Valid driver’s license.
