System Architect: Industrial Automation: Drives Design and Development 

Role

• Lead the Development of drives design architecture for Brushed DC, Brushless 2&3 phase DC, Linear motors, phased Stepper Motors
• Hardware design (FPGAs, IGBTS, FET’s, ASIC), Power Circuitry to realize the drive system
• Guide the design of power electronics, signal processing, processors and switching power supplies
• Drive the circuit design, circuit diagram and ensure their success
• Knowledge on power electronics at high frequency switching, filters design, signal processing of different sensors (encoder, current, acceleration etc.) and the required test electronics
• Hardware design and signal processing of Feedback Systems AquadB, SinCos, HallSensors, BiSS-C, EnDat 
• Cooperate with lead Research Institutes & technology Companies on new drive concept development
• Research on emerging technologies and generate technology road map
• Knowledge on bus topologies like EtherCAT,CanOpen,Profibus

Requirements

• Bachelors/Masters/Ph.D. in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics) or relevant Discipline (ex. Natural Sciences) with many years of industry experience.
• Experience in development of motor drive systems in precision automation motion control
• Successfully completed design of Drive Systems

Advantageous

• Embedded Programming experience related to FPGA, Microcontrollers, ASIC (nice to have)
• High level programming experience (c/c++)
