Contract Opportunity: Developer – Cloud & Infrastructure
Location: Limerick, Ireland (Hybrid flexibility available)

An opportunity has opened for a talented and driven Developer to join a high-performing technology team supporting the development of a critical cloud-based inspection and verification platform within the MedTech sector. This is a dynamic environment where software innovation supports the reliability, quality, and compliance of global operations.

You will be part of a team delivering advanced cloud-native infrastructure, system integrations, and low-code interfaces. The platform is being built using Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, and Mendix, with strong focus on scalability, security, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable infrastructure services using Go (Golang)

• Build integrations with external systems and services as part of a distributed architecture

• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation tools

• Work with RabbitMQ or similar messaging technologies to enable asynchronous workflows

• Participate in architecture planning, code reviews, and technical discussions

• Use Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi) to manage cloud environments

• Ensure compliance with internal security and quality standards

Required Skills and Experience:

• 4–5+ years of professional development experience with strong Golang skills (or similar language with willingness to transition)

• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, especially AKS and related cloud-native services

• Knowledge of modern DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.

• Hands-on experience managing infrastructure via IaC tools like Terraform or Pulumi

• Strong scripting ability (Bash, Python, etc.) in Linux-based systems

• Familiarity with Git workflows, agile delivery, and best practices in code quality, documentation, and testing
