Responsibilities

• Utilize your strong experience with Java, Spark, Hadoop, and SQL to develop and implement innovative data solutions.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders, including executive, product, data, and design teams, to address data-related technical challenges.
• Implement efficient ETL processes and optimize data infrastructure for enhanced scalability, security, and performance.
• Build and optimize big data pipelines, architectures, and datasets to support data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

• At least 8+ years of hands-on experience with Java development.
• Strong proficiency in Spark, Hadoop, and SQL.
• Knowledge of AWS or GCP is a plus but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex topics for clients.
• A consultative mindset, capable of listening actively and understanding client needs.
• A passion for solving complex data problems and delivering innovative solutions.

Bonus if you have

• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies.
• Contributions to OpenSource projects related to data engineering.
