Knowledge Engineer – Machine Learning

We are seeking a Knowledge Engineer to join our team of senior software engineers, architects, and researchers. This role involves expertise in knowledge representation, ontology engineering, and machine learning.

You will be instrumental in defining and developing a knowledge-based system, collaborating with local and international teams, including academic partners and colleagues in China. Your contributions will facilitate the integration of project modules or complete systems into our products.

The ideal candidate will excel in rapidly prototyping and experimenting with new software, embracing a fast-paced, experiment-driven development approach.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in data modelling and ontology development.
• Expertise in Linked Data, Metadata, SPARQL/GraphQL, OWL, Knowledge Representation, Resource Description Framework (RDF), Semantic Technologies, and Ontologies & taxonomies.
• Familiarity with data mapping, transformation, and querying techniques.
• Strong knowledge of artificial intelligence and natural language processing technologies.
• BSc, or preferably MSc or PhD, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in large-scale software design and development.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in Java or Python development.
• Experience with Network or Cloud Orchestration/Automation, Controllers, and Network Integration.
• Expertise in large-scale database management systems.
• Knowledge of YANG and modelling of networks and network services.
• A robust background in the software industry, with over 5 years of experience as a senior software engineer.
