Research Engineer in Large Language Models (Focus on Code & Test Code Generation)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced engineer with a strong background in machine learning, LLMs, and code generation—particularly in the automation of test code. This role offers the opportunity to work on pioneering AI techniques, influence model development at every stage, and deploy real-world solutions. You’ll collaborate across teams, lead innovative research, and play a key role in building AI-powered tools that support code development workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and optimization of LLMs for code generation, focusing on test code automation.

• Design and implement advanced AI models using supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning.

• Partner with interdisciplinary teams to translate research into practical, scalable tools.

• Design and run experiments, analyze results, and iterate to drive continuous model improvement.

• Publish research findings, contribute to technical papers, and explore patentable innovations.

• Mentor junior engineers and researchers, fostering their technical and professional development.

• Ensure models are robust, scalable, and performant in real-world deployment environments.

• Keep pace with the latest developments in AI/ML and bring fresh insights to the team.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related discipline.

• Strong track record in LLMs, machine learning, and automated code/test code generation.

• Deep understanding of supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning.

• Demonstrated experience in building and deploying LLMs for code generation tasks.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative, research-driven mindset.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in collaborative environments.

• Experience mentoring junior team members is a plus.

• Familiarity with AI-powered code generation tools is highly advantageous.
