Machine Learning Resource for VLM

ETR is supporting a leading Scandinavian engineer consultancy that is looking for a consultan to support an amazing project remotely from Sweden into the UAE.

Project Description
 

• Work as a part of the customer team based in UAE. Most of the work shall be remote with travel to UAE a few times.
• Total project length: 6 months (with possible extension)
• The task involves helping the researchers at the customer site with tasks associated with the development of their new VLM model for robot manipulation.
  • Data collection and handling
  • VLM model training with different datasets
  • Fine-tuning VLM model
  • Benchmarking VLM model against OpenVLA.

Required Skillsets

• Master or equivalent level of education in the field of computer science or Machine Learning
• 5+ years of working experience in AI/ML
• Programming in Python
• Expertise in working with common ML frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.
• Experience in Deep learning models, particularly in vision and language models.
• Understanding of VLM evaluation metrics
• Familiarity with fine-tuning techniques like prompt engineering, few-shot learning, etc.
• Experience with model optimization techniques
• Familiarity in handling large datasets.
