Machine Learning Robotics Engineer

European Tech Recruit is supporting a leading Scandinavian Engineering consultancy,that needs a Machine Learning Robotics Engineer consultant, on a 6 months contract basis, with possible extensions,based in-country Abu Dhabi.

Robotics engineer with at least 5 years of experience. They want him/her to be stand alone after just a couple of weeks.

• Assignment location: Abu Dhabi
• Duration: 6 months (with possible extension)
• Task Description:
  • Help our customer with setting up test environments with different robots (UR, Kinova Gen 3, Widow X, etc.,)
  • Writing Test APIs for testing algorithms
  • Data collection for ML training (From robots and other sensors in the environment)
• Required Skills:
  • Robotics Engineer with a background in computer science and programming
  • Experience and familiarity with the ROS framework.
  • Experience with MoveIt planners.
  • Python or C++ programming experience
  • Experience in API building (REST API preferably)
  • Basic Computer vision and Machine learning knowledge.
